If the answer is “yes,” here is suggested language:

Hello, Representative __________. My name is ___________ and I live in _________ . I am calling to thank you for your support of HR 536 (the Human Life Amendment) which was introduced at the end of the last session by Rep. Martin Scott. I want you to know that I support this amendment and I will be working very hard to promote its passage both in the legislature and with Georgia voters next November. I appreciate everything that you will do to see that the people of Georgia vote on HR 536 at the general election. Thanks so much for your time today.

If the answer is “no,” here is suggested language:

Hello, Representative ___________. My name is ________________ and I am a voter who lives in your District. I am calling to tell you that I support HR 536 (the Human Life Amendment) which was introduced at the end of the last session by Rep. Martin Scott. I noticed that you have not signed on to this amendment and would like to encourage you to do so as soon as possible. I support this amendment and will be working hard to promote its passage so that the people of Georgia will vote on HR 536 at the general election next November. I will also be watching and listening to what you do and say about this during the session. HR 536 is a big issue for me and will influence my voting decisions in the future. I hope that you will educate yourself about this amendment and do the right thing—which will give the people an opportunity to vote on it. Thank you so much for your time today.
